Residential Water Landscapes
From waterfalls and streams to ponds, we can incorporate water into your landscape in many ways.
One of our most popular offerings is our waterfalls. They can add aesthetically to your outdoor living area and make your home feel more relaxing and natural. Next, we can build streams including level streams and sloping streams. Whereas level streams are on level ground, we can build sloping streams on uneven ground and add small waterfalls to accent the stream. In addition to streams, we also build ponds which can be a nice addition to your back yard.
When thinking about your water landscape, it is important to keep some decorative ideas in mind as you don’t want your pond or stream to look plain. Adding large, flat rocks can do double duty by edging your pond and at the same time providing a wide enough spot which can be used as an informal path. We suggest adding dwarf evergreens for year-round structure as well as planting brightly colored flowers such as black-eyed Susans and lilies. Water plants, such as water lilies, soften the hard edges of the pond’s rocky border. When designing your water landscape, be sure to keep these tips in mind to make your area more aesthetically pleasing.
